Star has changed quite a bit over the years.

Once considered a very small, quiet, and rural farming community with a population of under 1,800 people (c. 2000) on the outskirts of the Treasure Valley, Star has experienced significant residential growth.

Many of the homes you'll find here are newer construction, and buyers are often attracted to the opportunity to get more house, a newer neighborhood, or more space than they might find in some of the more established areas closer to Boise.

Star can be a great option for people who don't mind being a little farther from the center of Boise and like the idea of a growing community.

Of course, growth also means that things are changing quickly. If you're considering buying in Star, it's worth looking at not just the house you're interested in but also what's happening around the neighborhood.

FUN FACT:  If you love pizza, Star may be the place for you. There  are seven (7) dedicated pizza spots in Star.
